5. 🏁 Final Selection & Weightage

HTET is an eligibility examination, not a recruitment appointment by itself. You must clear HTET to become eligible to apply for teacher posts. BSEH
Each level has a total of 150 marks, with no negative marking.
Minimum qualifying marks: Generally 60% for General candidates (90/150 marks) and 55% for SC/PH category from Haryana (approx. 82 marks) in previous cycles.
Once eligible, appointment depends on teacher-recruitment notifications by the Government of Haryana and respective schools/authorities.
