Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have I.Sc. (Biology or Mathematics) / 10+2 (Biology or Mathematics) along with any one of the following:

2-Year Diploma in Optometry
OR
2-Year Training as an Ophthalmic Assistant in a recognized Government Hospital under NPCB guidelines
OR
2-Year Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant from a Government / Private / Semi-Government institute recognized by the Bihar Government
OR
Equivalent qualification from any recognized board/university in India
